This planning application which is created by merging of 5 Essbase cubes. The application combines all the dimensionality of these applications and the planning process is replicated from an existing planning application.

Responsibilities:

The client is an American bank holding company of the eastern part of USA

This application was an extension to the existing planning application. The initial plan application was only focusing on the Budgeting, which in this phase is expanded to the Forecast scenario also. This application is built in EPMA and the metadata is being loaded through Interface tables. We also built an ASO cube which gets the data from the Plan cube.

Apart from this, we have created the Reports for the existing planning application (EFP Phase-1). We have designed various reports based on the client requirements and optimized them to a better performance. We have used both planning details as well as Essbase cube in the generation of reports.
