Primary position is to assist victims of disaster (hurricane, tornado, earthquake, fire, man-made, etc.) to acquire a low interest loan. Analysis of income through paystubs, tax returns (personal and business) and debt review through Credit Reports, and all pertinent information, provided by the Applicant is used to determine financial eligibility. In the event the Applicant is not able to afford a loan, they are referred to FEMA for grant consideration.
Other positions worked with SBA include:
Auditing of default business loans approved by preferred SBA lenders
Assist legal department with tracking of grant funds issued to Disaster Victims that have an active disaster loan
Proof and distribute lean releases of paid off disaster loans
There are periods of furlough when disaster activity is down. During these periods, worked loan modification assignments (HAMP, Foreclosure, Mitigation, etc.) at Bank of America, Chase and Saxon, through Newbold and Retreat Capital/ISGN
