EDUCATION
University of California, Riverside June 2018
Bachelor of Science, Mechanical Engineering Cumulative GPA 3.31/4.0
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Software: SolidWorks, MATLAB/Simulink, Microsoft Word/Power-point, Minitab, Plane Maker
Programming: C, MATLAB, Python (willing to learn any other programming language as needed) Operating Systems: Windows 7/10, Mac OS X, Linux (Ubuntu)
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), UC Riverside Oct 2015 - May 2016
Power Train Team Member
As an initiative, (with another team member) began modeling the first draft of a 4-cylinder GSXR600 motorcycle engine in 3D CAD SolidWorks. Modeled the first drafts of an engine block, valves, piston, and connecting rod. Also, researched automotive engine calibration methods to collaborate with other team members on how to best modify and tune the vehicle's engine management system.
Senior Design Project, UC Riverside Oct 2017-Mar 2018
Robot Football
As a collaborative effort (4 people) designed an attachment to an RC vehicle, allowing the vehicle to shoot a tennis ball. The process involved brainstorming, trade off-studies, and parametric designing. The team modeled and analyzed the design, pro-typed the design (CAD), and manufactured a physical model to prove the design. Also, wrote software in the Arduino IDE to drive servo and DC motors.
SkyTeam, UC Riverside Mar 2018- June 2018
Plane Maker
Modeled the first draft (geometry) of a new drone concept in plane maker (airfoils, wings, angles, fuselage). This includes research to outsource new software to create non-standard (in plane maker) airfoil data, allowing the head of the project to do preliminary flight simulation tests in "real world" simulated flight.
