To whom it may concern,

This letter is in response to the position of Entry Level Mechanical Engineer. My path in engineering at Texas A&M led me to find jobs in designing mechanical/control systems. I have work experience as:

A Formula SAE Racecar Design Team member for the Texas A&M Racing team, where our team won the World Championship at the Lincoln, NE competition. I learned to design, manufacture, and test various car components, through FEA and physical testing. Another key responsibility included being:

o The Lead Suspension Simulation Coder, designing the suspension systems based on the simulated configurations of the suspensions, and assisting with the design of Data Acquisition systems for the racecar, finding ways to simulate vehicular response and anticipate changes in lap time to the highest degree of accuracy, using the powerful tools in MATLAB.

A Head Teaching Assistant in Mechanical Engineering at Texas A&M, teaching different Numerical Methods used in mechanical engineering, using MATLAB, to fellow undergraduate students, as well as modeling the suspension responses of different cars virtually over several degrees of freedom, where I developed skills in explaining concepts and speaking in a group concisely, and finding inventive solutions to unique problems.

A Sales Representative at Harbor Freight Tools, where I learned the use of various hardware tools, and helped customers purchase the right tools for the right jobs, earning commission on the sales to double my salary over time. I am confident that my skills and capabilities will be a perfect match for this position. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Please contact me by phone or e-mail given above. Sincerely,

Siddhant Rebba
