SKILLS
PATIENT COORDINATOR, CLINIC FACILITATOR AND ASSISTANT at AF Williams Family Clinic
Working as an assistant and apprentice to Dr. Conry, I actively engaged in patient care by interviewing patients, reviewing histories, researching and recommending treatments, and following up on patient status for her patients at the clinic. I discussed and evaluated the course of treatments with patients while updating and making recommendations on improvements in treatment and patient care. Finally, I aided various physicians at the clinic while shadowing them to gain experience and participate in general patient care and clinic management.
POLICY ANALYST
at United Nations Economic Commission for Europe
Working under the director of the UNECE transport division director, I undertook a review of all national legislation of the 56 UNECE member countries, international legislation and private policy concerning land transport security. This review was compiled into a report to be presented to the UNECE and to serve as a guide for future UNECE policy concerning transport security and protection of land transport units against acts of terrorism. Report and Review
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND PUBLIC RELATIONS SPECIALIST at The Law Offices of Dexter and Dexter
I worked as a technology and public relations advisor and specialist with Dexter and Dexter, one of the premier multi-service law firms in Utah. Not only did I attain significant experience in the office setting, I also became acquainted with the office computer system and communication, working with administrators and interoffice communication, and procedures for filing and evaluating legal documents
INSTRUCTOR OF GERMAN
at Brigham Young University
I taught Introductory German Language for the Department of Germanic and Slavic Languages at BYU. This included creating lesson plans, organizing materials, interacting with the students, and extensive grading of student work. This work also involved constantly and creatively finding ways to keep students interested and engaged in the class while adjusting to their personal needs and desires.
SOPHIE PROJECT TECHNOLOGY SUPERVISOR AND TEAM MANAGER at Brigham Young University Department of Germanic and Slavic I designed, created and implemented a technology section for the Sophie project. Previously having to enter all information manually, my program allowed for the rapid input and transcription of texts in a mere fraction of the time previously required. It’s formulation and execution involved assembling and integrating hardware and software components, as well as teaching, heading, and managing a team, creating an instruction manual for the use of the equipment, and constantly updating the hardware and software to be more efficient.
