Designed a test stand to evaluate hydraulic components, after significant testing, created an implemented a new successful hydraulic-powered machine in less than a year.
Challenged to develop a new component on an old product that kept breaking apart. Assembled team to build the new product. Conceived, designed, manufactured, and launched the product with the new component within 3 months.
Resolved a 5-year door latch issue by removing two cab attachment bolts that were incorrectly welded into place. Re-engineered the fixture and the door properly sprang back into place saving the company money and warranty issues.
Worked with the electrical engineer to redesign an electrical system that was displaying numerous issues associated with improper grounding and connectivity on a tractor. Developed and implemented a new electrical system that resulted in zero issues and promptly increased sales.
Led efforts to establish use of quality engineering as the key component of product development. Coordinated with managers to develop new policies and procedures for installation that solved a 5 year problem within 3 months. Resulted in increased revenue and employee retention.

Created a cross-functional team that eliminated 33 quality-related issues in the operator's cab of a machine within 4 months by working together to re-engineer the product.
Analyzed the root cause of suspension failures in 90 buses, designed and developed a new FEA modeled suspension that was retrofitted and the busses were put back into service within 8 months.
Designed broom and hydraulic actuator system for a truck mounted broom/blower at the Cleveland Airport. The trucks were a success and removed over 4 inches of wet slush to bare pavement traveling at 20mph.
Completed a forensic study on a front axle alignment issue in 4 wheel drive vehicles that was going to cost the company $3500 per vehicle to repair. Devised and implemented a solution in the ball joints that fixed the issue and saved the company in excess of $5MM.
Developed and implemented solutions to stay on track to deliver the largest order of hydrogen 4-stage compressors in company history. Created procedures to ensure the project stayed on task and overcame many issues during the two month time frame; Delivered the $20MM order a day early and within budget.
