Nigeria (Nov ‘75 – Nov ’84)

Bank Branch: Interior design & renovation of 10 bank branches all over Nigeria for Owena Bank and Habib Nigeria Bank ranging from 150 to 1000 square meters each.

Office block: For the Federal Produce Inspection Services at two sites. Each block has 3,500 square meters floor area and estimated cost both blocks was US$ 4.5m million. Once block was in tendering process when I left Nigeria.

Cooperative College: Three colleges were being built. Two of them at new sites while the third one has additions / extensions to the already existing campus. Buildings at new sites included: Teaching / Administration Block, hostels for male & female students, residences for Senior Staff, student house, club, clinic, maintenance yard. The work was being done in phases. Phase I of both the projects, when completed cost about US $ 9.00 million each. The estimated total cost of both projects was about US$ 42 million.

12 storey blocks of flats in Lagos: 16 such blocks of 2 bedroom, 3 bedroom and 4 bedroom flats for Federal Government Civil Servants on various locations in Lagos. Total numbers of such flats were 384 costing US$ 25.00 million.

1004 Housing Units for both legislators and civil servants in Lagos. Apartment blocks included 4 bed, 3 bed and 2 bed units, shopping complex, primary school, water treatment plant, power generating plant building, tennis courts, buildings ranged from single storey to 14 storey. Cost of the complex when completed was US$ 114.00 million.

Represented Nigerian Government in International Conferences & Seminars involving discussions on co-operation and mutual development among the countries.

Renovation, maintenance / up-keep and furnishing of State Houses (official residence & offices of the Head of State / President & his Deputy) in Lagos and Abuja, Nigeria.

Plus a host of other small projects whose cost was less than US$ 0.50 million each.
