Supported the State Department of Planning, Research & Statistics (DPR&S) and State Malaria Elimination Program (SMEP) in the implementation of the National Health Management Information System (HMIS) and facilitated activities for efficient Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) and quality data.

Ensured regular HMIS monthly coordination meeting at the State and Local Government Area (LGA) levels and participated actively in ensuring data quality issues with the State DPR&S are discussed. Ensured that malaria data feature on the agenda every month and feedback related to the SMEP and the Roll Back Malaria (RBM) focal persons for service improvement are discussed every month.

Actively participated in the State/LGA malaria coordination and Procurement and Supply Chain Management (PSM) coordination meetings and ensured that M&E issues are discussed, feedback from monitoring visits to health facilities discussed, available data are presented and discussed. LGAs doing well from the data collected should be appreciated at these meetings.

Supported HMIS unit to conduct Data Quality Assessment (DQA).

Ensured that the data of supported health facilities are collated, analyzed, display and used for state advocacy and program monitoring.

Ensured that copies of technical reports are archived and support in the collation of data from community based activities.

Data entry officer on the Rapid Impact Assessment in Oyo State supported by National Malaria Elimination Program (NMEP) and WHO which involved collation of malaria data over a period of 10years (2003 - 2013).

State supervisor during community and schools’ Long Lasting Insecticidal Net distribution campaigns.

Supervisory role in malaria commodity distribution to Global fund supported facilities in the State.

Supported data entry utilizing various reporting templates such as NHMIS malaria retrieval monthly reporting template and consumption data entry tool.

Familiarized with data retrieval on the District Health Information System (DHIS2).

Carried out supportive supervision to State health facilities on management of uncomplicated malaria, inventory control card management and DQA activities which was supported by Global Fund/NMEP/ARFH Malaria project making use of approved check list.

Carried out supportive supervision to Oyo State secondary health facilities on management of severe malaria supported by Malaria Consortium (MC) making use of approved check list.

Supervisor during the validation exercise to Oyo State facilities which was supported by Global Fund/NMEP/ARFH.
