JBM Envelope Company, Lebanon, Ohio. 3/2013 to current Machine Operator: Polar Cutter 137 XT, 801 Envelope Folders and PHP Die Cutting Press

Polar Cutter duties include setup and maintenance, cutting press sheets down for PMC die cutting or UV Inline flex die cutting. Communicate with supervisors, press department, PMC operators and 801 adjusters in regards to current, completed and upcoming tasks, as well as quality control issues. 801 Folder and PHP duties included jogging stock, feeding into pockets and refilling glue and/or ink. Quality control checks for issues such as bad folds, bad glue seems, and print quality.

Quad Graphics (Formerly World Color), Lebanon, Ohio. 7/1995 to 11/2010 Machine Operator: Saddle Stitcher and Polar Cutter

Duties included machine set up and maintenance. Pulled and inspected every half hour samples and notified supervisor if quality standards were not being achieved. Adjusted machine and equipment during runs for maximum production. Trained, monitored and coordinated the assignment of 3+ crew members on a daily basis. Coordinated the communication between operators when running the same title. Adhered to and promoted all safety procedures set forth by OSHA. General Laborer

Performed entry level duties for shop. Moved material by hand from presses and machines. Moved inventory from storage to saddle stitcher. Utilized a computer to track stock.
