Project (HomeInsurance Web Application):

The Main purpose of Home Insurance Quote is to provide the ability for only registered users who can get Quote, retrieve Quote, print quotes or buy the policy. An Admin can Cancel/Renew the User’s policy.When a user/admin connects to the Web Server, theWeb Server will interact with the Database after processing the business logic to transfer data to and from a database.

Developed a WebApplication (HomeInsurance) from scratch in Java using JSP, Servlets, JDBC, MySql database on Apache TomCat Server (v8.5).

Tested the application using Junit (for unit testing) and Selenium (integration testing).

Detailed Project Description: Finacle e-Banking, the powerful e-Commerce platform offers an integrated remote financial services portal to their customers.

Responsibilities:

Testing for Finacle eBanking version -11.0x.

Requirement gathering for manual testing.

Involved in automating test cases using Selenium WebDriver and tested in JUnit.

Created Test Scenarios and Test Cases and executed them by performing Regression, System, Integration Testing

Wrote SQL queries to test the application for valid constraints on required table and verified the contents of the data table.

Status reporting of test cases executed based on code coverage

Logged defects in Defect Tracker tool like Fire Stone, keeping track of the tickets and taking them to closure.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities included Requirement gathering & analysis; test data setup; creating test scenarios, test case preparation & review; test case execution; defect tracking, analysis & retesting;

Test execution (Functional, Regression, sanity and smoke testing).

Written SQL Queries and executed them using TOAD.

Checking log files in UNIX and forwarding the same to developers.

Handling the applications and logging defects for resolution in the Apple Tool called ‘Radar’.
