RESPONSIBILITIES AT ABB KOMATI POWERSTATION:

Authorized in Plant Safety Regulations as Responsible Person

Acting as Technical Specialist ( Supervisor ) of my plant when required

Online Brush gear maintenance on a 10.5KV Power Generator

Do fault finding, testing and repairs to Eskom Komati PowerStation Reticulation system

Helping the Technician do Commissioning on Drives and PLC’s

Changing of heating elements on Extruder machines various sizes

Switching of 6.6KV breakers when needed

Isolating plants when required for maintenance or breakdowns
