With over forty years of high quality construction education and experience, I am a very well rounded construction professional - successfully completed almost every task involved in the general contracting scope – from hand-digging foundations to owning a large commercial general contracting firm. I get along with people very well, am a fine producer, and a great problem solver. I am currently seeking full time, part time, or as needed employment in the Asheville area with a reputable commercial or residential contractor. Position and responsibilities are flexible. My experience includes scheduling, coordination, contracting, accounting, supervision, management, marketing, trouble shooting, etc., etc.. Current: After having left for two years, recently returned to Asheville, NC, residing in Biltmore Lake.

10/16 – 08/18 Resided in Richmond, VA, to open a new branch office for Benning Construction Company (based in Atlanta, GA). That task has been completed. 06/16 – 10/16 Employed by Benning Construction Company, working out of home office while waiting to be relocated to Richmond, VA.

10/12 – 06/16 President of Heinkel Construction, Inc., a commercial general contracting firm. Work consisted of various projects in Florida. That effort has been completed. 10/02 – 10/12 President of HGR Construction, Inc., a large commercial contracting firm in Orlando, FL. Interest in that firm has been sold to the other partners. 10/82 – 10/02 Employed by Kelsey Construction, Inc., a large commercial contracting firm located in Orlando, Fl. Worked up to Vice President of Operations. 06/81 – 10/82 Worked as Project Superintendent in Houston, TX. 06/77 – 06/81 Received Bachelor’s Degree in Building Construction from the University of Florida, in Gainesville, FL.

06/73 – 06/77 Attended Bishop Moore High School in Orlando, FL. References and further details are available as requested.
