Provide patient care for pre-operative and post-operative management of Orthopaedic trauma patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties related to the patient’s care and management. Assist supervising physician in the management of hospitalized patients plus: check on clinical status, order and explain tests or therapy, report on progress to physician, assist in documentation of care, order medications per the physician’s plan of care, arrange for post-hospitalization follow up care, assist in surgery, conduct rounds on hospitalized patients. Conduct outpatient clinic follow up appointments, implement and provide instruction on physician’s plan of care.
