I began as a Packer for a month then I was introduced to Lamination where I worked as a trainee/assistant for four months. Since then I have been working as a Laminator Operator, the machine I am running can do four different applications

- Solvent less, Solvent based, Cold Seal, Heat Seal, Vanishing, Primer and Mono-Component.

I am privilege to mention that I can run all five laminating machines within the plant. No major nor minor injuries had ever occurred to me or any of the trainees and assistances I have ever worked with.

I have been appointed as a Health and Safety Rep for the lamination Dept as a whole and its surroundings.

I have been employed as a Metallizer assistant operator, my role is to make sure that the machine is maintained clean and make sure the rolls are ready for metallization. Take out metallized roll and load a plain material for metallization. I am also being trained on how to run the machine and also run the machine when there are no operators to step in while maintaining absolute cleanliness in and around the machine. Pack rolls, feed complete rolls to the slitter, and log entry of rolls into the system.
