March 2017 – Present

• Self-taught developer that completed 1-year Web Development Apprenticeship at Bloc

• Built a music performance critique app called Critique My Performance that was built with ReactJS, saves to Firebase, and is deployed on Heroku; used HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ReactJS.

• Built a Pomodoro Timer app with the ability to add/delete tasks using ReactJS and Firebase, a personal portfolio, three music player apps (one with ReactJS, one with Angular, and one with JQuery, all used Buzz Library), two chat apps (one with ReactJS, one with Angular), a Wiki app using Rails, a Reddit type app using Rails, and a command line Ruby application

• Currently working on UI for voting/election management software built with C#, Xamarin, and PostgreSQL

• Manage all aspects of the percussion program for Westwood and the two feeder middle schools: mastery-level instruction, effective planning, coordinating travel, and hiring adjunct personnel.

• Implemented new rehearsal techniques and training curriculum for marching band, leading to the group’s first appearance at the UIL 6A State Marching Competition in 2014
