Duties and Responsibilities
Troubleshooting plant electrical problems to determine their cause and recommends options for eliminating such problems. Includes carrying out tests on equipment.
Monitoring and preventive maintenance of critical equipment and corrective actions to avoid breakdown.
Planning for resources and manpower for planned shutdown of the plant and execution including start-up.
Daily Power monitoring, calculations and reporting on monthly basis.
Identification of Hazardous area classifications and maintenance of electrical equipment.
Coordination with various departments for smooth functioning of the equipment by interacting other team and suggestions.
Conducting Safety audits within the department and ensuring the Compliance from all the employees and updating the checklists and audit reports
Hands on Experience
Experience in (Transformer, Air Circuit breaker, Transformer 1250 KVA, Switch gear operations and Earthing).
Experience in 11 KV/440, 33KV OLTC, panel board operation and Load balancing and power quality monitoring
Maintenance and Servicing of UPS 60 KVA*2,160 KVA*2.
Maintenance of backup power in 625 KVA *3, 500KVA and 125KVA diesel generator.
Knowledge on PLC programs.,Limit switch, Pneumatic switch, Sensor switch.
Monitoring and preventive maintenance of checklists itemIn bus(Self motor, Alternator, Battery, Indicators, Meters, Oil levels, Engine conditions,etc).
Knowledge in Electrical schematic diagrams (Blue print).
Inspecting and Testing and RE conditioning of batteries in various Amphr.
All electrical cabling laid and smoke detector fixing work.
Maintenance and Service of ACB(11KV) & VCB(33KV) service.
Knowledge of EOT, Cranes, Hydraulic press, Centrifugal pumps.
