DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES:

Draftsman

Ø Design plans using computer aided design and drafting (CAD) software Ø Work under the supervision of engineers or architects Ø Add details to architectural plans from their knowledge of building techniques

Ø Accommodate safety procedures and issues in installation and construction drawings

Ø Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and enhancements

Ø Prepare multiple versions of designs for review by engineers and architects

Ø Draft and prepare layout drawings of the given structures, components and devices.

Ø Produce draft designs and diagrams according to the given specification Quantity Surveyor

Ø Managing the finances for the construction project Ø Working to keep the project on time

Ø Working to keep the project within the budget

Ø Making sure that construction costs and production are managed efficiently as possible.

Ø Resolving disputes between contracting parties.

Ø Estimates materials and labor costs

Ø Prepare Statement of Final Account
