A WIRELESS TAMIL SIGN LANGUAGE RECOGNITION SYSTEM USING ATMEGA32

DESCRIPTION:

The proposed system is designed to reduce the communication gap between the common people and hearing and vocally impaired people. The system consists of wearable hand gloves along with flex sensors and MEMS which are used to sense the signs made by the people. The signs due to different angled tilt, rotation and direction changes are captured and transmitted through the ZigBee and ATMEGA32. The Recipient ZigBee will receive the signal and send it through the serial port of LABVIEW. According to the sign made, the suitable recorded voice will be replayed in LABVIEW. Thus communication is established between normal people and hearing and vocally impaired people.
