Project Description: - HR3 is Human Resources, Reporting and Redesigning is a part of GE Corporate. We managed a comprehensive range of strategies spanning a suite of investment strategies designed to help meet the diverse needs of Institutional Investors around the world. HR3-Reporting and Analysis Platform involves analysis of data from client side with methods involving Business Intelligence to manage the data of various Employees and Officers working under and for GE. Also includes various functionalities so as to serve the organization in a better and a simplified manner. We had a monthly Production release plan wherein a week’s time was provided to gather all the information related to the changes the User has asked us to do. After gathering the requirement, the code was copied from Production to Development Environment and changes were made. After the testing, first file from Dev was send to the User and about a week’s time was given for testing the changes at the User’s end. Once the User has provide the sign off, the code was moved to Stage environment and another test feed was send for testing. Once sign off received from Stage, the code was moved to Production on a planned date. Code move was taken care by Informatica Admins and DB Admins. Once the file was sent from Production, the User provided final sign off.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Gathering the business request from Client and discussion with onsite Business analyst about the requirement.

Analyzed the high level design document, Involved in the study of sources & targets and created low level design documents.

Implemented changed data capture techniques and designed mappings to load the data from various heterogeneous sources to stage layer.

Developing mappings using suitable transformation according to Business Requirement and develop workflow.

Involved in dealing with performance issues at various levels such as mapping, session and database.

Doing review and unit testing of every task before delivery, thereby maintaining quality.

Involved in deployment, unit testing, Integration testing, QA and UAT.

Involved in bug fixing based on the testing results.

Prepares the Process documents to streamline the process.

Works on Performance tuning tasks on long running workflows.
