INTRO TO MECHANICAL: A VEGETALABLE CUTTER

My partner and I were able to build a machine that can cut vegetable. When preparing vegetables, people must first cut the vegetables, a process that can be both time consuming and frustrating. The objective of our design was to make cutting vegetables an automated, hands –free process.

Machine design

Researching best use of materials available, for limitation of low cost bridge Design. Designing model using solids works, Matlab and Mathcad. Presenting proposal in technical paper and public presentation.

Epics I: Ocean Plastic Debris Collector (Spring 2016) I Worked with team members in order to design construct and present a working innovative model that would help solve the problem of plastic debris in oceans. The project was the best model of the class.

Physics II: Laser Spy (Fall 2015)

Worked with team members in order to research materials for prototype. Constructed and designed in a time of two months and had a working model of design. The design was able to capture sound waves through the laser and then converted to hearable audio. WORK EXPERIENCE/ VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE
