Engineer, Construction Planning Group 2014–Present Involved in the capital asset lifecycle of WEC’s Advanced Main Replacement Program (AMRP), handling all facets of construction management from planning, design, construction, and closeout. Served as main contact/liaison between company personnel, Chicago DOT & third-party utilities for design & construction, operations & maintenance, and restoration conflicts.

Key Contributions:

• Successfully resolved over 380 conflicts since 2014 within WEC’s Chicago Loop and Central District territories; including the successful completion of WEC’s South Austin neighborhood, as part of AMRP and CDOT’s Bus Rapid Transit, as part of its Loop Link Project.

• Fostered working relationships with key Chicago & Illinois DOT personnel, cooperatively resolving daily construction, permitting, and restoration issues within Chicago’s downtown metro hub. Associate Engineer, Damage Prevention Group 2013-2014 Refined processes to reduce third party damages to the company’s 4500 mile-underground pipeline infrastructure. Conducted investigations of damaged pipelines by internal and external contractors during construction projects, in which root cause of damage was thoroughly analyzed with on-site foreman and operator. Key Contributions:

• Spearheaded the implementation of Watch & Protect Program across the company’s North, South, and Central Districts in which light-duty union employees were assigned to highly critical construction projects, providing a presence to keep 3rd-party contractors accountable.

• Personally performed on-site auditing of external contractors, coupled with the Watch & Protect Program, reducing company’s hit per 1000 locates ratio by 14%, from 7.2 to 6.2. This reduction brought the company’s incentive goal from over threshold to within target. Associate Engineer, Corrosion Control Group 2012–2013 Managed 20 contracted locators and 12 internal corrosion technicians who were direct reports. Constructed metrics and digital infrastructures of the company’s 50+ citywide well casings. Key Contributions:

• Oversaw the yearly corrosion inspection of the company’s 16,000 one and ten-year services and mains, in which pipe-to-soil readings are initially taken, then determined if follow-ups are required.
