PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Graduate Teaching Assistant for Digital Logic and Design course at The University of Texas at Arlington. (Jan 2017 – May 2018)
• Instructed students on how to build circuits on the Bitboard and design circuits using Verilog on Quartus II and test them by programming the Cyclone II FPGA Altera DE1.
• Communicating with the students to help them with assignments and make sure they understand the course content.
• Responsible for grading the exams of students and resolving any queries thereafter. Research Intern at The University of Texas at Arlington Research Institute. (Summer 2017 – Dec 2017)
• Operated on a project to track moving vehicles using a drone in real-time using RESTful services through Agile Methodology.
• Worked on configuring the AWS Ubuntu AMI instances on the systems and then setting up Hadoop on the EC2 instances to process large amounts of data.
• Ensured the maintenance of the servers and the systems to be up and running. Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Arlington. (Summer 2017)
• Testing circuits based on 74XXX and testing out the boards and the FPGAs.
• Worked on developing a web application for inventory management system and deploying it on AWS.
• Proof reading manuscripts and suggesting changes to the professor before the final publication of the book.
• Assisted in designing the Digital Logic Lab Assignments before making it available in the course. RELEVANT PROJECTS
AWS EC2 and S3 based Web Service to perform CRUD operations (Spring 2017)
• Successfully configured EC2 Ubuntu AMI instance as the web server that hosts the python flask application that can perform CRUD operations on AWS S3 buckets using HTTP methods and using IAM to restrict access to only registered users.
• Deployment of the web application on EC2 with Apache Tomcat as a web server using AWS CLI. AWS RDS, ElastiCache performance analysis deployed on EC2 (Spring 2017)
• Pushing 1 GB dataset into the AWS RDS instance using the SQL Workbench and querying the database through a web interface built using Python Flask through RESTful services.
• Storing and retrieving results from ElastiCache - Redis through hashing thus measuring performance of both RDS and Redis in a strictly timed environment.
EC2 based data munging and processing using Hadoop on EC2 (Spring 2017)
• Responsible for setting up Hadoop on EC2 Ubuntu instance and uploading 1 GB of Airlines dataset on Hadoop File System.
• Mapper and Reducer built using python to retrieve the average delay of flights and map the results into a scatterplot using D3.js. IBM Blumix Dropbox Service (Spring 2017)
• Responsible for developing a Python Flask based web service with smooth API integration to store and retrieve files on the IBM Cloud Object Storage from the cloud foundry apps using RESTful services and deploying it on the IBM Blumix using the Cloud Foundry CLI.
• Developed a version-controlled Python Flask based web service using HTTP methods to perform CRUD operations using the unstructured Cloudant(NoSQL) database provided by IBM and deploying it on Blumix. Image management Application (Spring 2017)
• Successfully developed an Image Management application using Python Flask framework, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and analyze scaling the application through AWS Auto Scaling Groups and Load Balancers using JMeter. K - Means clustering on Microsoft Azure: (Spring 2017)
• Performed K – Means Clustering on the dataset uploaded to Azure SQL database using Python Flask Framework. MEAN Stack Messenger Web Application: (Spring 2018)
• Developed Messenger application using Javascript Frameworks and implemented authentication methods using JWT. Recipe Book Web Application (Spring 2018)
• Developing frontend application using Angular5 and Firebase as backend to store and authenticate users through Firebase API.
