Sourcing Advisory Consultant
Original project was to develop and manage an RFP for procurement of outsourced IT managed security Services. Project included identification potential vendors in the Security Operations Center IT security space, develop the RFP and associated scope related contract schedules and manage the RFP process. I was the day-to-day contact with the vendors during the procurement process to resolve and clarify scope and contract issues. Developed performance success criteria including SLAs and defined the monthly meeting schedules and content for ongoing management of the relationship. Assisted business manager in working with legal in negotiating the contract with the successful vendor. Upon completion of that project I assisted the information security managers in acquiring and renewing additional security products/services to address cyber security needs. In this role, I was the IT security liaison with procurement, vendors, vendor management and legal to qualify a vendor and work through the proposal, selection and contracting process for security services. Services included software contracts for applications hosted in the client data center, SaaS, software maintenance agreements, outsourced services and specialized labor services such as project implementation, and maintenance.
