Ericsson owns a Telecom Billing product - BSCS (Business Support Control systems).

Its an integrated Billing tool which performs activities from rating of usages to Billing,Collection of payments, Debt maintenance etc..

The core product is customized in order to suffice the requirements of around 120 clients all over the world and hence has around 120 different versions of the product each having certain unique functionalities besides the core functionality.

Roles & Responsibilities:

As a module owner responsible for driving the team in bringing the product bugs to closure.

Responsible for providing the solution for the customer requirement and distributing the engineering tasks to the developers.

Lead for the Billing team for the TMO project.

Product Owner of scrum team.

Analyzing the customer requirement and help him understand if such a requirement is actually possible or not and if yes, responsible for estimating the size of the Customization and provide a solution for the same.

Roles & Responsibility:

Primary role is to handle CDR rejections thereby ensuring that there is no revenue leakage.

Develop Automation scripts using Unix,PL/SQL for generation of reports.

Handling end to end provisioning and developing, deploying and testing the applications using JAVA and menu based scripts using Unix as part of the process improvements.

Presentations on Test cases to clients and get the solution approved

Handling issues arising for a customer right from Provisioning component till the Billing.
