Project Name: servicing and maintenance of distribution transformers. Place: APTRANSCO SPM section Nellore.

Description: Transformer is a static device which transfers power from one circuit to another circuit at constant frequency. The project is about the studying of various faults that occurs in distribution transformers and maintenance of the distribution transformers.

Project Title: Multi-level bridgeless power factor correction rectifier Team size: 5

Role: Development of rectifier

Description: The electrical power that has to interface with DC grid has to possess some essential parameters like high power factor and low harmonic distortion for enhancing the power quality of the grid. A high efficient bridgeless three-level power factor correction rectifier is developed in order to satisfy the above requirements. To control the grid current and output voltage effectively, a feed forward nominal voltage compensator with the mode selector is developed, by pre-setting the operating point of grid voltage, this compensator improves the control environment. Seminar:

Presented a curriculum based seminar in Smart micro grid and rural electrification in India. The seminar is about the study of smart micro grids and their role in electrification of isolated areas in India. The seminar also deals with the statistics of rural electrification in India. Internship:

Description: Sri Damodaran Sanjeevaiah Thermal Power Station (2 800MW) is a super critical thermal power station with a plant capacity of 1600MW. The internship is about studying the overall view of the thermal plant.
