duties & responsibility

Raising commissioning inspection for work completed in accordance with QA/QC implementation, Site Coordination for technical issues.

Participate in preparation of the close out documents.

Testing and commissioning of FCU, FAHU,( air balancing as well as chilled water system)

Monitoring and identifying the snag list and ensuring for completion of standard installation work on construction projects are in compliance with the plans and specifications.

Prepares punch list reports and determines corrective measures for on-site problems.

Reviewing the test pack & CRFI before submitting to consultants.

Directly responsible for the testing & Commissioning of LV & ELV, safety of all Electrical groups’ personnel of the project by ensuring that the project execution will be done according to all applicable health, safety, sanitary and environmental standards.

Generate BOQ from drawings, Specification and scope of works.

Review of drawings & Project specification, FEED document and send to supplier for quotation preparing comparison for purchase the material.

Conducts site observation surveys and prepares field reports on the status of projects and completion of projects with respect to compliance to the plans and specifications.

Estimates, prepares and assigns the resources such as manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, etc., required for all Electrical and related works prior to execution. Plans and analyses all possible construction methodologies and recommends the best options.

Supervise the process of installation, termination of transformer, generator, switchgear, UPS, telephone / data, fire alarm, public address, CCTV, audio visual, access control and security systems.

Performs basic design and Engineering calculations for various Electrical systems like Load calculation, Transformer sizing, Generator sizing, Circuit breaker sizing, voltage drop, cable sizing, cable tray, Bus Bar and & Lightning protection system etc.

Co-coordinating with consultant Engineers and Client Engineers to meet up with project requirements and facilitate it on time. Preparing presentations and project progress schedules.

Ensures that all the works done are in accordance with the approved construction drawings, contract documents, project specifications, and all applicable local, international standards.

Project supervision, submitting activity reports, inspection requests, estimates and all applicable monitoring reports on regular basis or as required. To collaborate with cost control and planning department in preparing the daily progress reports.

Monitoring the sub contractors in the process of electrical installation in line with project specification.

Preparation & submission of monthly progress report to Consultant / client, if required

Generating and maintaining Risk Assessments and Method Statements for testing and commissioning of LV switchgears and accessories.

Ensures that all the works done are in accordance with the approved construction drawings.

Ability to critically review building services documentation (drawings, calculations, and specifications).
