ETL Activities:

Prepare an estimation document for the Business Request or Change Request.

Prepare a Plan and Business Request Analysis document and Interface Design Document.

Identify the Control-M or Tidal jobs that are needed to run the interface and accommodate them in the design document.

Review the design document with the on-site team and accommodate the review comments.

Develop Informatica mappings with respect to design document.

Develop Unix script coding for the input file validations.

Develop Unix Script to generate parameter file and call the workflow for execution.

About the Client & Project

PNG is one of the leading gaming companies in the US. It owns casinos and race tracks in the US.

This is a development project where we integrated PNG’s new casinos into its operational data-warehouse.

This project extracts data from the MS SQL Server source with respect to gaming day and creates a flat file target. The data from the flat file is loaded to the stage, along with this data from the error table is loaded. Then the load continues to load the stage data to work table which is subsequently loaded to the target table.
