BROWN & CALDWELL, INC: (5 month) Electrical Engineer responsible for re-design of Mixed Solids Transfer System and Irrigation System for a Waste Water Treatment Plant located in Eugene, OR. Control systems utilized Allen-Bradley SLC5/04 programmable controllers, PanelView operator interface terminal, RSView SCADA system, and discrete and analog I/O. Duties included revising plant control software, modifying and adding PanelView and RSView screens, writing detailed descriptions of operations and assisting customer with new control system installation and checkout.

COLUMBIA MACHINE, INC: (3 month) Electrical Engineer responsible for design of customer specific automated concrete products equipment for the Concrete Block Industry. Control systems utilized Allen-Bradley SLC5/04 programmable controllers, C-H Panelmate operator interface terminals and discrete I/O. Duties included revising standard machine control software, modifying operator interface screens, specifying electrical components via a Movex computerized parts inventory system, revising standard electrical schematics and electrical control panel layouts to integrate customer specific options into design using AutoCad v.2004 & 2005.

Control systems consisted of Nematron computer (PC) control and a Profibus I/O network. Operator Interface was programmed using Wonderware. Duties included modifying and rewriting existing machine control software, specifying electrical components, and design of electrical schematics via AutoCad v.14.

LEN E. IVARSON, INC: (18 month) Electrical Engineer responsible for design and startup of food packaging machines. Control systems utilized Allen-Bradley PLC-5, SLC5/01 thru SLC5/04 and MicroLogix 1500 programmable controllers. Operator Interface consisted of 5" monochrome and 10" color Allen-Bradley PanelView terminals. Duties included all PLC software design and PanelView screen design. Responsible for interfacing equipment with various servo drive systems and scale weighing systems via direct ASCII communications and/or Allen-Bradley Basic Modules. Design software included AB500, RSLogix 500, RSLogix 5000 and Allen-Bradley Panelbuilder.

Responsibilities included checking vendor P&I diagrams, schematic diagrams, electrical parts lists, PLC software programs, operator panel screen design, etc. to insure vendor compliance with all GM specifications and construction policies. Duties included management of on-site contractors, daily inspections of construction site to document progress and compliance with GM construction policies, attending scheduling meetings, assisting contractors in locating instrumentation and equipment, and startup after installation.

CHRIS HANSON LABS: (18 month) Electrical Engineer responsible for design and startup of process control systems for food flavoring and coloring industry. Control systems utilized Allen-Bradley PLC-5 and SLC5/04 programmable controllers. Operator Interface consisted of PanelView 1200E and 1400E terminals. Duties included all PLC software design and PanelView screen design for multi-tank batching and CIP cleaning systems.

SQUARE D COMPANY: (3 years) Electrical Engineer responsible for design and startup of 2 line supervisory control systems. Each system transformed 6 rebuilt presses into an automated stamping line for Ford Motor Co. Installations incorporated robots, die carts, loaders, unloaders and destackers to enable total line automation and a 10 minute automatic line die exchange capability. Software design included extensive diagnostics and operator prompting to facilitate easy maintenance and troubleshooting. Each control systems utilized 16 Square D SCP-644 programmable controllers interconnected via SY/NET and SY/PEER networks.

BOEING COMMERCIAL AIRCRAFT: (5 month) Material Handling Engineer responsible for supporting production and maintenance departments of automated aircraft sheet metal plant in Algona, WA. Duties included redesign of Allen Bradley PLC5 control logic to improve AS/RS Crane reliability, expanding and improving fault monitoring logic by utilizing indirect addressing concepts and PanelView operator interface, redesign of optical modem communications from RS232 to RS422, evaluating and improving AS/RS crane mechanical design, and training plant maintenance personnel in proper troubleshooting techniques.

All software documentation was generated on an IBM PC AT utilizing Topdoc, Taylor and Reliance software.

NOTE: During last 9 month on project customer authorized me to work out of my home

and transmit work files to him via Hayes 9600 baud modem.

SYSTEMATION, INC.: (4 month) Electrical Engineer responsible for control circuit design, programming and startup of high speed (5000 parts/hr) integrated circuit packaging machine. Control system included a digital display and keyboard interfaced to a Gould PC185 Programmable Controller.

HITACHI-CLEARING, INC.: (8 month) PLC Software Designer responsible for fault/diagnostic logic design and field startup of large scale double action and transfer presses for the automotive industry. Duties included extensive travel to Houston, TX for field startup and debug of equipment. Control systems utilized Allen Bradley PLC3 Programmable Controllers.

ACRO AUTOMATION, INC.: (4 month) Project Engineer responsible for control circuit design of automated welding machines. Duties also included startup of rear axle assembly line at General Motors plant in Ontario, Canada. Control systems utilized Allen Bradley PLC2/30 and PLC3 Programmable Controllers.

GREDE FOUNDRIES, INC.: (4 month) Project Manager responsible for installation and startup of automated casting cleaning line in sand casting foundry. Responsibilities included circuit design, scheduling, quality control and supervision of contractors on construction site in Reedsburg, WI.

HARNISCHFEGER ENGINEERS, INC.: (2 years) Project Engineer responsible for design, field installation and startup of automated material handling systems. Assignments included automated conveyor systems for:
