JOB TITLE: DRILLING ENGINEER (June 2015 to date).

Responsibilities/Competencies:

Well Planning Operations/Design Engineering

oAccomplishing optimized directional well trajectory designs considering formations type, geomechanics, cost, anti-collision, targets and landing requirements using COMPASS™ software.

oAccomplishing casing design, well head selection and analysis considering fresh water aquifer protection, geomechanics, appropriate casing setting depth, competent formations, pore pressure, fracture pressure, well control/production requirements and temperature effects using CASINGSEAT™, STRESSCHECK™ and WELLCAT™ software.

oAccomplishing Torque and Drag Analysis and Simulation using WELLPLAN™ software to predict the measured weights expected during Tripping in/out, Rotating on/off bottom, sliding drilling and Back-reaming and configuring drill string design to avoid failures during drilling operations and to deduce hole condition during drilling.

oAccomplishing hydraulics analysis, simulation and design using appropriate rheological models and analytical tools to optimize drilling hydraulics and hole cleaning using WELLPLAN™ software.

JOB TITLE: DRILLING ENGINEER (WELL SITE OPERATIONS -February 2013 to June 2015).

oSupervising the drilling and completion of directional wells with total depth varying from 3000m to 4000m, from drilling to completion, well activation and successful hand-over to production.

oPreparing Daily Drilling Report (DDR) using OPENWELLS™ and communicating operations update to the office drilling engineering team.

oManaging deviations from original well plan in conjunction with the office drilling team to ensure that well objectives are met.

oOverseeing the activities of the major contractor as well as the service companies to ensure that operations objectives are met in the areas of mud-logging, directional drilling and survey services, casing and completion string services, cementing services, mud engineering, wire-line/slick line logging and operations and well-head installation services, among others.

oEnsuring that adequate safety, health and environment procedures are followed in every operation and in general rig activities and that all personnel on site properly understands the emergency response procedure.

Responsibilities:

oNestle Self-Assessment Tool (NSAT) Auditor: Driving compliance with Nestlé’s blueprint for process, change management, production, safety, environmental, utilities, project and maintenance engineering standards and assisting to assure readiness for Nestle Group Market Audit.

oLeading the reliability, root-cause analysis and problem-solving teams using the SIX SIGMA problem-solving methodologies to optimize production assets and processes.

oCreating project plans - based on Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) - and WBS Budget, project schedules, and procurement requests and carrying out asset creation/classification using SAP ERP project system module as well as overseeing asset handover to production.
