Analyzed BRD and FRS, contributed to development of specifications to create and execute detailed test plans and verify bug fixes. Functional, Usability, Compatibility and GUI testing to be done on user verification portion of website. Wrote user stories and communicated them with the team using Trello. Prepared Release Backlog where the entire project was divided in iterations to be completed in 3 weeklong sprints. Configured test environment. Assured test data and scheduled automated/manual tests. Executed test using QC and Selenium IDE. Tested the site on multiple OSes including Windows 7.1, 8.1, 10, and Mac OS X (10.6 onwards) using VMware View Virtual Machines (VMs). Completed results documentation and tracking systems updates. Wrote SQL queries for database and backend testing. Used JIRA for reporting and tracking bugs and providing updates on resolved bugs.
Dealer Track Canada (DTC) project with Desjardin Nov. 2015 – Mar. 2016
Reviewed BRD & FRS, created test scenarios, wrote test cases to do positive, negative, and boundary value cases based on the BRD and FRS. DTC portal website to be tested. Waterfall model was followed. Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM) prepared and test environment details planned out. Test tools used included Excel, QC, QTP, Word, and Selenium IDE. Smoke test performed. Test execution done with manual and then automation testing being done as per Master Test Plan (MTP) and test results documented, and defects logged and mapped to test cases in RTM. Defects tracked until closed. Test closure and test metrics reports completed.
Guru99 Banking Project (Agile) May 2015 – Jun. 2015
Implemented unit testing, integration testing and regression testing of its functionalities. The test cases were created, and functionalities checked for two different roles. Wrote and analyzed user stories and then created test cases. Project was done in weeklong sprints. Created a sprint backlog of user stories to be completed and updated daily the estimated work remaining. Updated burn down chart on daily. Created test cases for unit testing and integration testing and prepared test data as per the end user requirement. Dissected the functionalities and gathered defects. Created a System Test plan. Concluded the project by performing exploratory test examining the functionalities for further enhancements.
