8 years of project management experience. Managed several concurrent projects valued over CDS$7.5Million.

Provided mentorship to engineers, technologists and designers.

5 years of hands-on PLC, DCS and variable frequency drives programming and Installation experience.

Successfully re-designed the cable tray support on Pipe Rack 3 (PR3) to simplify installation and reduce cost and labour.

Successfully re-designed the Transformer Pad for the Admin/Warehouse 1500kVA Transformer to simplify installation and reduce cable run thereby reducing cost and labour.

Successfully found an alternate source of power to feed six (6) Motor Control Centre (MCC) to power the equipment for the Mud Circuit Conversion Project, eliminating delays caused by the late delivery of the substation ordered for the project at Sherwin Alumina, Gregory, Texas, USA.

Successfully increased the efficiency of the Bauxite Unloading Port from 26% to 95% at Sherwin Alumina, Gregory, Texas, USA.

Successfully replaced six (6) PCB filled transformers in three (3) months at Sherwin Alumina, Gregory Texas, USA.

Successfully completed the commissioning of BHP Billiton’s Freeze Plant, Saskatchewan, Canada.

Successfully completed the electrical design for the #3 Ore Bin Addition at Newmont, Leeville Mine, Nevada, U.S.A.

Successfully completed the electrical design for a new #8 Converter in Inco’s existing smelter, Ontario, Canada.

Successfully completed the commissioning of a conveyor system to handle Voisey’s Bay Nickel, Ontario, Canada.

Successfully directed and managed within budget (CDN$3.92M) and schedule, the construction of an Innovation Centre at the University of Technology, Jamaica, W.I.

Successfully designed and implemented renovations/alterations to three schools in Barbados (St. Michael’s High School, West Terrace and St. Lucy Primary Schools) within budget of CDN$15M.

Successfully initiated, planned and managed the upgrade of 6B Thickener Rake Drive Replacement from 70,000ft/lb to 250,000ft/lb within budget of CDN$382.5K.

Successfully installed and commissioned Dust Suppression System and rehabilitated electrical switchgear, cables and motors within budget of CDN$12M.

Successfully ensured the correctness of the electrical design and drawings of the filtrate pumping station upgrade within budget of CDN$735K. Assisted in the preparation of stock modification and maintenance schedule.

Successfully initiated and implemented energy saving equipment - power factor correction capacitor, variable speed drives and energy efficient lighting fixtures - resulting in savings of 60%, 40% & 20% respectively.
