Work History
Infineon Technologies; Department Head Business Continuity / Sustainability Continuity 2015- current Infineon Technologies is a semiconductor manufacturer and R&D company. As a supplier and chip developer for the automotive industry, Infineon maintains certification with IATF 16949:2016, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. In this role, I lead the North American EHS Division, covering 13 sites and 35 R&D labs. In addition to ensuring regulatory compliance, I oversee ISO certification at our umbrella facilities. During my tenure, Infineon has received no regulatory violations and successfully recertified three facilities. L3 Communications (IOS); Director EHS and Facilities 2013 - 2015 L3 IOS Division is a defense contractor specializing in precision manufacturing and optics. In this role, I managed 6 direct reports and was responsible for the Division’s regulatory compliance, auditing, L3 excellence (Lean / Six Sigma /6S) and ISO 14001 programs across 3 sites. As a result of this program, non-conformances were reduced by 40% over 2 years
SpaceX; Sr. Manager Environmental, Health and Safety 2012- 2013 SpaceX is an aerospace company specializing in the manufacture of rockets and spaceflight. In this role, I managed the EHS department at the company’s 5,000 employee headquarters and manufacturing facility. Utilizing 3 direct reports and 3 FTE staff members, the company received no regulatory violations and implemented a real-time metric system encompassing injury reporting and compliance requirements. CODA Electric; Sr. Manager, Environmental, Health and Safety 2009- 2012 CODA electric was an electric car manufacturer with a focus on the use and advancement of Li-ion technology. I began this role defending the Company from an FAA / DOT issued violation for illegal battery transportation. Successfully, bringing the company back into compliance, I went on to design and develop the Company’s EHS and hazardous material transportation programs in the US and supported CODA’s suppliers. Multiquip Inc.; Manager EHS, Facilities and Corporate Services 2004 - 2009 Multiquip specializes in the manufacture of light construction and power generation equipment. In this role, I lead the company’s EHS and Facilities department for 7 campuses (4 domestic, 3 international), in addition to ensuring compliance, I developed the company’s corporate auditing program under the ISO 14001 / OHSAS 18001 systems to ensure a standardized methodology was used to meet EHS requirements. During my tenure, injury rates declined by 30%.
