FEB 2016 to FEB 2017 at Nest-Labs (Alphabet) as a QA Network Test Engineer
● Owning WiFi (end to end coverage) on the Nest protect for all Functional, Regression and Smoke tests.
● Performing WiFi Sanity, Functional and smoke tests for all types of Nest camera.
● Certify software releases for general use with automated python tests and black box tests.
● Working on both Linux and RTOS platforms, mainly in integrating code changes and achieving successful test results.
● Responsible for sensing the slightest changes in product behavior w.r.t Wireless and Battery usage.
● Responsible for looking through the huge data generated by all devices under test and scan for abnormalities, and file issues.
● Training new recruits and helping them understand the product whilst guiding them to drive issues to closure.
