My passion for engineering began in high school when I built my first PC computer. I wanted to create something that would benefit and help improve the lives of people. I worked endless hours to produce the best PC possible while developing problem-solving skills. Through my experience as a KU engineering undergraduate, I further developed problem analysis, problem solving and troubleshooting skills as well as a strong knowledge of operating system. As a student I taught myself the open-source operating system entitled OpenWrt, a modified version of Linux that allows me to change and customize my personal routers. After completing many hours of problem solving and independent learning, I successfully make OpenWrt running flawless on the router, I can manually modify ad filers, QOS, NAS, and shadowsock functions. I am persistent and goal oriented, and use my knowledge to improve and provide effective solutions to challenging programs.

Attention to detail and meeting deadlines are important skills for a software engineer. Through my various engineering projects at KU, I met or exceeded all deadlines making sure that each project was done efficiently and accurately. I always arrive on time and ready to work whether it is for class, my job or for an important meeting.

Although I am an independent and self-motivated worker, I am a team player who has strong communication skills and enjoys working with others. As a student employee at the KU Dining Hall, I worked with students and staff from diverse populations providing excellent customer service. I am able to effectively communicate ideas and solutions to classmates, professors and coworkers, and always provide encouragement and a positive attitude.

I know that working for would be a mutually beneficial relationship. I am a hard-working, self-motivated individual who has a passion for software design.
