EMCOMM app allows users to send text messages or share locations to any EMCOMM user within range and it also works if a smartphone is in airplanemode.It works on Android as long as the smartphone is running on the latest OS. EMCOMM range can go upto 50 miles, but it's dependent on the geography such as a user's terrain and elevation. Thus,they can able to communicate and share our location with our peers within the accessible range.
