• Existing 737 structure (Green structure) had to be modified to accept the new sensor arrays/pressure

boxes/ electronics/fairing support structure.

• The fairing required an O-Give curve and surface model.

• Coordination with the systems group was critical to achieve release date.

• Led 4 other individuals to achieve completion dates.

Lead Design Engineer - CATIA V5 (METAPHASE)

• Responsible for the design and release of all models and drawings for lower composite skins and

mating structure for the DARPA funded JUCAS military project.

• Led five individuals and was responsible for (NAVY required) "Earned Value" tracking and reporting.

• Resolved on-going issue of sizing (Stress).

• Fastener patterns were a challenge and required extensive collaboration.

• NAVY requirements were challenging as well.

*Conceptualized and lead innovator, intelligent designs for heavy automotive products with respect to project

schedule, manufacturing, maintainability, cost, weight, qualification, specification compliance, and

customer requirements.

• Class 8-5 Truck - Body (Class "A" Surfaces), Styling. (Alias).

• Chassis Engineer for suspension, steering, and clutch mechanisms and systems (kinematics).

• Several designs of mine saved the company millions of $'s in cost savings and are still on the trucks

today.

• Designed and Studied most components/systems under hood to rear axles. EPA requirements

mandated many iterations/configurations.

• Point-Man for my 2nd line level supervisor - for complex 3D models/GD&T DWGs. Anything molded -

metallic or plastic, sheet-metal, progressive die parts.

• Became a Detroit Diesel employee to work on EPA required changes, packaging studies using

digital mock-up skills were essential. I worked with EGR, ACCERT, and COMMON RAIL fuel system

technologies.

• VPM, Flat-file systems, specialized with model conversions.

Lead Tool Designer - CATIA V3

Utica Enterprises - Utica, MI

April 1989 to April 1993

• Collaborated and provided top level service to Sikorsky's (RAH-66 Comanche helicopter) tooling staff.

• Led a team of 5 designers.

• Designed mill fixtures, drill, assembly and floor jigs, components and Kevlar composite lay-up tools

(Invar).

• Provided our services to Chrysler for various fixtures.
