• Performed near-real-time QA/QC and data processing of remote monitoring data generated by micro gas chromatography technologies.
• Applied proprietary deactivation chemistry, based on silanol attachment reactions and silica chain rearrangements, to inner surfaces of micro fabricated gas chromatography columns and conventional fused silica capillary columns.
• Performed quantitative quality control testing of deactivated gas chromatography columns using an ultra- high-split-ratio injection technique with laboratory-scale GC-FID.
• Collaborated with mechanical and electrical engineers to help with manufacturing of remote-fieldable gas chromatographs for monitoring VOCs in groundwater.
