Total sales were over $500 million, total construction loans over $925 million and joint ventures with values over $425 million. Principal Joint Venture/Mezzanine Originations – Responsible for the development of new business acquisitions with operating partners located primarily in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions. Structure both joint venture equity and mezzanine debt vehicles for the purpose of acquiring commercial real estate projects i.e. multi-family, condominiums, office, industrial, student housing and retail. Primarily targeted opportunistic and value-added projects with projected IRR’s of 15-20% within a 3-4 year hold period. In addition to the opportunistic investments, stable operating properties are targeted for mezzanine investments. Involved and approved all capital projects and construction plans. Current originated and closed portfolio with a market value of over $175 million.

Vice President Dispositions – Responsible for commercial real estate dispositions in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Regions. Perform market analysis, develop target pricing, interview and hire third-party investment sales brokers, develop marketing program, negotiate final pricing, negotiate purchase and sale agreements, and direct portfolio and return analysis for over $200 million of assets. Asset Management – Managed a $275 million portfolio of preferred equity/mezzanine debt investments for the Whitehall Real Estate Funds. Investments included a 600,000 sf conversion to a telco hotel in Manhattan and the major repositioning and/or lease-up of over 3 million square feet of Class A/B+ office space located in the Midtown West, Garment District, Rockefeller Center and Stamford, Connecticut submarkets.

Bangkok Capital Alliance (Thailand) Asset Management – Responsible helping in the creation of the asset management platform for over 100 Thai staff to manage a non-performing loan portfolio of over 5,000 assets. Conducted training seminars for Vice Presidents, asset managers, and analysts in the following modules: work-out legal strategies, non-performing loan disposition strategies, negotiating skills, and ethics.

Vice President Asset Management – Regional manager of the Eastern Region’s commercial real estate non-performing loan portfolio totaling over $500 million including office, retail, hospitality and multi-family. Managed and directed the Eastern Region’s asset management team regarding underwriting/acquisitions of non-performing loan portfolios and single-asset transactions, disposition strategies, loan servicing, and annual Business Plan process with formal presentations to Goldman Sachs & Company. Managed regional office move from Virginia to Washington, DC. Negotiated VA space sub-lease, new DC lease, hired architect, developed space plan, hired TI contractor, cost-valued budget and managed tenant improvement build-out.
