CAREER HISTORY

I am a qualified Crane Operator with more than 25 years crane operating experience on Mobile, Crawler and Gantry cranes as follows, Liebherr, Demag, Tadano, Kobelco, Zoom lion, Kato, Grove, Bendini, Manitowoc, American, National, etc. I have valid crane licenses to operate cranes from 50 tons to 550 tons and heavy duty vehicle experience with a valid code 14 EC driver license. I have worked onshore for mobile and crawler crane hired companies, experience in dry dock ship repair operations, oil refinery shutdowns, building and construction sites, building of bridges, packing of concrete slabs and beams, installing light poles, wind turbine operations, offload wet and frozen goods from trawlers, load ice bins and parts onto vessels, etc. Main responsibilities as a Crane Operator

Operate the deck cranes within designed (SWL) loads in accordance to the de-rating tables applicable to existing weather and sea conditions. Ensure that only marked, certified and suitable slings, wires, blocks, schackles, hooks are used and available for lifting purpose, To maintain the cranes on a daily basis. Ensure that repairs and preventive maintenance are properly carried out. To weekly inspect the cranes in accordance with the manufacturer recommendation. Supervise maintenance workers and roustabouts. Properly carry out all orders and instructions given by superior. Promote on the job training, participate in safety meetings and safety drills. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness throughout work areas of responsibilities.
