TECHNICAL SKILLS SUMMARY
● Utilized my cartographic design and geovisualization skills to create a Health Facilities Accessibility in Kitsap County 2016 using ArcGIS. Analyzed spatial data using ArcToolbox Spatial Statistic Tools such as Local Moran’s I and Getis-Ord Gi* to find clusters and outliers.
● Through R and RStudio my teammates and I created an interactive webpage using the ShinyApp package to bring awareness of the US distribution of police fatal force encounters. We used other packages like Change Point Analysis to analyze potential correlation between de-escalation policies and change in number of police fatal force cases.
● Using Microsoft Excel and ArcGIS Online I designed population density maps of Washington State’s 2016 legislative districts to begin the first stages of a grander redistricting project come the 2020 US Census. Also in Microsoft Excel I was able to use projected 2020 population to calculate the number of representatives each state will have. EXPERIENCE
