COMPANY: TCS

PROJECT TITLE 1: HRMS 2.0 (Human Resource Management system) and Organogram.

Post: Senior Software Tester Engineer.

DESCRIPTION: - Human Resource Management system (HRMS) is an integrated system to capture the Service particulars of an employee from day one of the service till the end of the service. Depending on the service information, generate the monthly salary bill of employees by the concerned Drawing and Disbursing Officer. It is a web based application DDOs can access the application through internet to update service particulars and generate monthly salary bills.

Responsibilities:

Analyzing the requirements given by the client.

Preparing the test scenarios as per requirements.

Preparing the functional test, integration and system testing test cases for modules.

Preparing test data for the Test cases.

Analyzing the test cases prepared by team members.

Performing Smoke test for build acceptance.

Responsible for guiding juniors.

Preparing test environment to execute the test cases.

Executing the test cases and back end testing.

Defect reporting, Defect tracking.

Giving mandatory information of defect to developer in order to fix it.

PROJECT TITLE 2: HRMS 1.0

DESCRIPTION: - A Human Resource Management System (HRMS) refers to the systems and processes at the connection between human resource management (HRM) and information technology. It merges HRM as a regulation and in particular its basic HR actions and processes with the information technology field, whereas the programming of data processing systems evolved into standardized packages of software. The linkage of its financial and human resource modules through one database is the most significant feature of HRMS systems, which makes this software application both inflexible and elastic.

PROJECT TITLE 3: HRMS 1.5 and Organogram

DESCRIPTION: - HRMS 1.0 application was developed with .Net 2.0 framework and deployed at client location in 2008. In 2015 it has been migrated to .Net 4.5 framework and named it as HRMS 1.5, because of migration from .Net2.0 to .Net4.5 application has to be tested fully so end to end testing has been carried out.

Responsibilities:

Understanding the CR (Change request by clients) and Preparing Test Case for CR’s, generating test data and Testing of web based application based on client's designs & requirements.

Attending review meetings and walkthroughs to better understand the application.

Writing Test Case, generating test data and testing application End to End based on client's designs & requirements.

Coordinating with team member’s and clent to get clarification and gather information.

Bug reporting, tracking and communicating with Test Lead/Test Manager.

PROJECT TITLE 4: EMR(Electronic Medical Record)

DESCRIPTION: - EMR is designed to contain and share information from all providers involved in a patient’s care. EHR data can be created, managed, and consulted by authorized providers and staff from across more than one health care organization.
