May-2016 till date : Bodycare International Ltd: Working as Production head Knitting, Sourcing and Development. Unit is engaged in manufacturing and supplier of branded kids undergarment, thermals, infants wear and lounge wear for complete family.

Nov 2015 – April 2016 Self Employed: Doing freelancing in all kinds of textile fabrics for Garment and functional textile industry like shoe lining and automotive materials.

May 2012 to Sep 2015: Shreeji Polyfab Pvt Ltd Greater Noida as a General Manager. The unit is engaged in manufacturing of fabrics for shoe lining /interlining and garment industries, having in house knitting, flame lamination, scatter coating and fabric to fabric drum laminations machinery. Apart from this other fabrics like woven, non-woven and warp knitted are sourced from different places throughout India.

My responsibility includes making sure the smooth running of entire plant at max productivity level. Engaged in production planning, material management, production monitoring at each stage, planning training schedule for desired employees, Maintenance planning and general administration.

Dec-2011 to May 2012 Self-employed doing trading and freelancing work in Fabric procurements for garment and shoe manufacturing industries.

Since Sept-07 to Nov-2011 with Wilhelm Textile India Pvt.Ltd.Gurgaon as a General Manager Development and Production.

It is a German multinational company having branches in Europe and Asia. The Plant is fully equipped with Process house, scatter coating line, dot coating line, 3-layer drum lamination line with knife on air, knife on roll and roller coating attachments. It has the 50 years of experience of supplying the footwear manufacturing industry with Lining and Upper Fabrics both technical and decorative. Also deals in making jacquard fabrics for automobile furnishing in knits and woven.

I am responsible for product development and outsourcing of different kinds of fabrics such as woven, warp knitted, weft knitted, non-woven, padding material, insole material, auto mobile furnishing and others, the final product is made as per given standards.

Conceptualization and generating merchandise plan for every season collection, Coordinating with the marketing/sale team and production team Selecting and interacting with fabric suppliers / vendors to ensure the best product quality/price and timely dispatches.

Since Jan 2005 until March-07with Mercury Fabrics as Sr. Knitting & sourcing manager.

It is a fabric manufacturing unit and main supplier of greige and processed fabric to the leading exporter in India.

Knitting units consists of ultra – modern high-speed circular. Knitting machines of all types like rib, interlock, fleece etc with a production capacity of 3 tons per day.

Responsibility includes entire production planning, achieving desired efficiencies, adhering to quality control methods and general administrative activities.

Reviewing product cost/lead time/cost comparison exercise/margin analysis.

Since Aug’99 till April 2004 with Addi Industries Ltd. as Sr. Manager (Knits)

This is an integrated knitting garment unit having its own dyeing, processing, and garment making up and knitting units with the capacity of 3lakh garment/month.

Knitting units consists of ultra – modern high-speed circular. Knitting machines of all types like rib, interlock, fleece, auto stripper etc with a production capacity of 4 tons per day.

Responsibility includes production planning, target achievements, quality assurance, work force planning, maintenance, and inventory management, outsourcing, and general administration.

Close co-ordination with merchandising team on sourcing product that is produced internally or out sourced at a profitable/comparable margin and timely deliveries.

Seek out information concerns and feedback from other subordinates through questioning and probing methods: accepts and act on feedback.

Responsibility also includes sourcing of new fabrics from the market and negotiations with supplier for best price and right quality of fabrics procured at right time.

Aug’93–Aug’99 with Jacknit (P) Ltd. (Sister Concern of Woodland Shoes) Noida as Production Manager

It is a sister concern of Woodland Shoes mainly catering to apparels fabric manufacturing.

The unit consisted of 41circular. Knitting M/c’s of interlock jacquard from Mayer & CIE, Terrot, Textima and Mellor Bromley.

Worked closely, supervised the erection, and commissioning of the entire unit.

Responsibilities included the coordination with merchandising, marketing/sales teams in order to develop various kinds of jacquard patterns using different kinds of yarns compositions as per the market trends and mood and further to make sure the timely execution of the required material, maintenance and other administrative jobs.

Jan, 92 - Aug, 93 with Spin Knit Unit, Nakuru, Kenya as Knitting In charge

The unit was a composite mill having spinning, dyeing, weaving and garment sections.

Knitting unit was equipped with electronic sweater knitting flat and circular. knitting machines from universal Germany and Mellor Bromley, U.K respectively

Responsibilities included entire production planning, capacity management, maintenance of the unit as well as work force planning.

Nov, 90–Dec’91 with Punjab State Hosiery & Knit Wear, Development Corporation, Ludhiana as Knit Wear Development Supervisor

Responsibilities included R&D, execution of training programme for fresh knitting technicians and to the students sponsored by NIFT & NID.

Feb’83–June’90 with Wool Textile, Baniwalid, Libya as Knitting & Garment supervisor

Start of career in this composite textile mill having wool sorting, wool washing, spinning, weaving, tufting jacquard woolen carpets, printing, knitting & sweater making up sections.

Involved with German & Spanish engineers in the erection & commissioning of both circular & flat knitting machines (Stoll ANVH).

Obtained a sound and enriching experience of handling maintenance, scheduled planning etc.

Supervision of entire sweater making up unit involving fabric manufacturing, preparatory processes of panels, steam presses,cutting,making up,washing,quality control checking till final dispatch.
