Position: 1-Project Civil Engineer.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Supervise the chain person, assistant and site engineers 2. Maintain a good work relation with the designer, client / RE, together with our supply chain 3. Review the design drawings to comply with the specifications and bid SOW. 4. Attend design, weekly and interface meetings and prepare for minutes of meetings. 5. Advise engineers on setting out about methods & technique& clarify their T.Qs. 6. Prepare all structural & civil Shop drawings and coordinate with other MEP work 7. Design the Drainage Sys., highways and earthworks engineering shop drawings. 8. Prepare written method of statement for the control of the work. 9. Review all the drawings and make sure it contains sufficient and accurate information for construction. 10. Carry out material take off and requisition as requested by sub agent/Agent. 11. Order material and maintain register of all order placed & confirmed. 12. Review Material submittal and clarify for the suppliers for any conflict as per scope books, specifications, engineering guides and standards, related to design tasks;. 13. Prepare for VO. Leads and ensure all work groups are properly guided, in close cooperation with the Project Manager, in assembling and controlling the required resources (manpower, equipment, materials and tools required)to start and sustain the work efficiency and productivity until the completion of the project. 3. Inspects work in progress to ensure conformity with QA/Q C specifications and requirements, Industry Codes, Standards and Procedures, and provides technical advices to resolve problems. 4. Advises the Project Manager in determining and procurement of tools and materials to be delivered at specific times in order to conform to the workloads, plans and schedules. 5. Interact with other construction areas and Superintendent, discusses and reviews with Project Manager the project Key Performance Indicators to determine accurate status of the project, making tactical decisions for allocating resources, and assigning staff requirements, to maintain project on target. 6.
