Resume:

Mr. John E Padilla Owner of Recon Safety Mobile: 303-***-**** Email: ***************@*****.***

I believe in a “Behavioral Based Safety System”. One that includes input from Staff and Management. This inclusive safety concept as opposed to a “Punitive Base Safety Program”, allows updates to all Health & Safety Policies. Other programs such as; Stretch & Flex, Operation or Task Huddle, JHA / AHA, daily weekly or monthly equipment or site inspections, become highly improved, because of training and education. The byproduct of this can be higher productivity, falling EMR / MOD ratings and fewer incidents of unsafe behavior. Leading a Safety Program that the team members can interact with management provides faster informational awareness and the ability to rectify any potential issue before it becomes an incident. At no time should an act of belligerent policy violations go unpunished. These violations should be spelled out in the Company employee handbook. Violations should have a Root Cause Analysis Investigation and Urinalysis Testing done.

I can ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local legislation and codes governing “Environmental Health and Safety”. Assess risk potential of hazardous operations. Develop policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines. Interface with regulatory agencies, committee members and staff to formulate corrective actions. Design safety training for all levels of employees, from the field as well as office personnel. Ensure training and corrective action follow-up is completed. Develop and implement accident investigation, data analysis, and reoccurrence prevention programs and procedures. Conduct on-site reviews and audits of operations and facilities. Review registration and documents for regulatory safety compliance. Monitor all current information on regulations and requirements related to hazardous materials and agents. Direct industrial hygiene, occupational and general safety programs to ensure a safe environment and comply with safety standards. Investigate and evaluate new safety equipment for appropriateness. Respond and aid in all emergency situations.

Co-workers recommendations for John Padilla.

James Mitchell

JCI Safety Manager at Johnson Control, INC

While working under the JCI umbrella, John Padilla was the best Safety Manger out in the field, at the VA Replacement Medical center. John has the full package when it comes to safety. He trains, coaches, and most of all he has good people skill. I recommend John as safety manager for any job he applies for.

Matt Estel

Safety Coordinator at Kiewit

John and I worked together at the Denver VA Hospital project. He was a safety manager working for Johnson Controls/Northern Electric. He helped the Kiewit Safety dept. in making sure all training was completed for his crews. John Padilla is an excellent trainer and mentor for the craft employees.

James Ferell

Systems Engineer at Johnson Controls

John worked for a company that was sub contracted to my current employer. During Johns time at the current project that I am working on. John was an instrumental person in developing the safety culture amongst the entire field installation team and engineering teams. John was always someone who I could turn to for anything, he is always willing to help the team, and always has the safety of him and men at the forefront of his thoughts. He demonstrated this on a daily basis at work and I'm sure within his personal life. I would highly recommend John for any role that he is seeking.

Dave Mefford

CVIS lead at Kiewit

John was a great asset for our job site. He has many years of experience that he is willing to share with anyone that will listen. John corrects issues in the field by correcting the behavior rather than just being a safety cop. He also was respected by his crew of up to 250 employees.

Kurt Fisher

Corporate Safety Director at The Northern Group

John is a fantastic asset to any company that brings him on. He is hard working, loyal, and fantastic problem solver. I would highly recommend him to any company as he is definitely the best safety manager that I had working for me.

My goal is to show you that three letters after my name does not prove knowledge. Wisdom can only be earned, having worked with a toolbelt on, employees see that I have been in their shoes and I speak from real world experience.
