PRESENTATION

I graduated in civil engineering from the University of Constantine in Algeria

(1985) and holds a master's degree in civil / structural engineering (1988), University of Manchester in the United Kingdom. Following the steps taken with the Professional Engineers of Ontario, I am recognized by the PEO and accepted as an engineer in 2015.

During my 27 years of experience including 22 years as project manager and 7 years in Canada, I have demonstrated my skills in designing various types of structures, project management, monitoring and compliance monitoring and the quality of the work.

My experience is mainly in the field of bridges, buildings and various civil and industrial structures in reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, steel framework, mixed structure and wood. I also have relevant experience in structural assessments, rehabilitations and structural inspections. In Canada, much of my career was devoted to project design and management. During this period, I also carried out projects to rehabilitate structures, supervise the work, assume the task of discipline, and the function of team leader "design".

I am very comfortable with structural analysis software STAAD.Pro V8i - STAAD Foundation Advanced V8i (Version 6.0) - SAP - ETABS - PCA Mats - S- CONCRETE and other software.

SKILLS

Responsible for the organization, production and quality assurance of the works from the initial phase (analysis of inputs, development of design criteria) to the delivery of the plans and specifications and the accompanying of the project during the realization. Ensure that during all these stages, evaluation, monitoring of timelines and budgets are always scrupulously under control.

• Attend engineering project teams by assisting / performing all project management, providing assistance and guidelines for each type of project and engineering concept from the project start-up phase to completion: o Attend the kick-off meeting;

o Determination of design criteria and construction options; o Participate in studies (pre-project, assessment, damage report, etc.); o Participate in the design of structures in accordance with codes, standards and enforcement procedures; o Participate in the preparation of contract documents (plans, quotes and estimates); o Participate in the writing of technical reports; o Assist / Conduct project management.

o Monitoring of on-site work

• Multidisciplinary: Bridges, civil engineering structures, ports, private, institutional, industrial and municipal buildings, whether in design, project management or construction follow-up;

• Master several analysis and design codes (steel, reinforced concrete, pre-stressed): Canadian, American, Eurocode, BS standards;

• Having extensive experience in engineering detail while overseeing CAD technicians to prepare drawings;

• Assist the various teams in the preparation of work plans, offer of service, submissions; Construction plans and specifications;

• Listening and responding to client needs while maintaining excellent relationships;

• Prepare the relief team by supervising, developing junior and intermediate engineers, and technicians;
