Web development using Jquery/ Bootstrap Operating Systems ACADEMIC PROJECT

● Capstone Project [Javascript, Jquery, Node, MongoDB, Ajax] Designed a minimalistic web-forum, akin to “Discourse”. Developed using Jquery, Node, MongoDB, Ajax. The emphasis is on user-interaction and to build a better comment system.

● Financial Info Retriever [Python, Javascript, Ajax]: Designed a web-crawler application which uses Python frameworks like Django and Flask, which gathers companies stock data and display it in a PDF.

● Product Classification System [Python, R]: Assessing and improving the Quality of analysis for classifying products into clusters for an e-commerce website. This is a product classification challenge on Kaggle.com.

● Finding Optimal Functional Units [C Using Dynamic Programming, the required Functional Unit combination can be sought out in an Heterogenous embedded system, based on probability and cost variables.

● Android Based Automation [RTOS, Embedded C, Android, XML]: To automate home appliances and electronic devices through an Android application with the help of a Bluetooth interfaced to SJ One Microcontroller.

● File Sharing using HTTP Client-Server Architecture [Ubuntu, Socket Programming using C Using HTTP request methods and socket programming, File-Sharing protocol is implemented between client and server.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

● Trainee, Saibersys Tech, San Jose, CA May 2017 – Current Designed a web-page for a client, using Javascript and its frameworks like Jquery, Bootstrap. Ajax was used to dynamically retrieve data from server and update website.

● Quality Analyst, EA Sports, Hyderabad, India Jan 2013 – May 2013 Testing and Analyzing game’s performance, in recording bugs/ flaws, thereby assuring quality of final product. Used Software quality management system like JIRA to document findings, creating test-strategies and test- cases for new features.

● Intern, Infoway, Hyderabad, India June 2012 – December 2012 Web Counseling [C#, .NET, MSSQL]: Designed software which recommends colleges to students according to the rank secured in a state-wide common entrance test. The student can get to filter through different parameters like “Major”, “Distance” to choose the kind of college the person likes. He can also select an option to be placed on waiting-list for a college.
