Major Project

Vehicle using orbital transmission system with grass cutter - It is basically a car which is used to cut the grasses in the lawns easily and effortlessly. We have made this model because the gardener can easily cut the grass of the big lawns eaisly by driving a car. A car which is easy to drive because it doesn't has gear and clutch system because we have used scooty engin in this car. The grass cutting system can be adjusted according to the need and according to the size of the grass And main aim of our project is to use orbital transmission system in place of gear, so we have used orbital transmission system to transmit motion from engine to rear wheels. We are using orbital transmission system in place of helical gear because the maintenance cost of orbital transmission system is less in compare to helical gear.

Minor Project

Modification in Kennedy key - In this project we have changed the theory and some formulas and the result is increase in life of the kennedy key. In this type of Kennedy key consist of three square keys. In this case, the hub is bored off the centre and three keys force the hub and the shaft to a concentric position Kennedy key is used for heavy dusty application. The analysis of the Kennedy key is similar to that of the flat key. And the Kennedy is failure due shear stress and compressive stress so that's a reason to change some formulas and the life of Kennedy key increases.
