MAJOR ENGINEERING PROJECTS

Thermocuff August 2015 – May 2016

●Lead, designed, developed and built a recirculating convection based cryotherapy device that was programmed to shut down when the desired temperature was reached. Installed a ceramic device that utilizes the Peltier effect to create a heat flux between two different types of materials. The ceramic device was capable of producing high heat and low temperature simultaneously. Heat sinks were attached to the ceramic device to extract the low temperature and directed it to a specialized cuff to circulate around an inflamed human joint.

Team T.E.E.M May 2015 – December 2015

●Formulated Design concepts for a device that was able to transfer its rotational motion into a toggle switch that would create an alerting sound when force was applied to it. Prior to assembling the device, theoretical proof was presented to ensure that the device was able to perform the given task.
