Hired to play instrumental role in large-scale expansion initiative. In charge of directing all operations, maintenance and distribution of steam and chilled water for over 140 buildings throughout Minneapolis, MN. Concurrently supervised eight satellite facilities generating over $16M in EBITA. Coordinate purchasing, Safety, Environmental, permits, metering, instrumentation and controls. Perform all types of project management duties for new equipment.

Transitioned plant from ABB Bailey Control system to an Emerson Delta V Control platform.

Smoothly converted telemetry system database from Matrikon to OSI-PI, JDE to SAP; transitioned Ariba to Adapt One to facilitate vendor qualification. Improved the revenue meter billing, and instrumentation and controls.

Regularly performed insurance inspections, evaluated processes and prepared accurate documentation. Capital projects encompassed press/bindery installations, inkjet/mailing and important infrastructure changes.

Succeeded in meeting all project deadlines, production goals and site safety targets, while increasing throughput with new automation applications and process controls.

Saved over $300K each year after decreasing spoilage with better KPIs and checklists; also introduced CMS MP2, work orders, centralized storage and inventory tracking, resulting in further cost reductions.

Implemented and supported 5S, Lean and Six Sigma solutions to minimize make-ready times and waste levels for Direct Marketing Group.

Oversaw two facility addition projects and piloted plant closures at two other locations in MN.
