Executive Summary

I am an Oracle DBA with over six years of experience and has worked extensively on migration and upgrade within and outside data-center using data guard. He has experience with RAC, 12c upgrade, data guard, Grid control, ASM, RMAN and Golden Gate monitoring. I have been involved with different teams, including development, testing and QA. I have extensive experience with RMAN, SQL Query tuning, Shell Scripting, DB Console, OEM, RDBMS availability, Storage, ASM and data guard failover and failback over standby databases efficiently. Configure and manage Data Guard extensively for Production databases of sizes ranging from 50GB to 5TB.

Partition tables Maintenance, adding new partitions, exchanging one-year old partitions then archiving of the exchanged partitions, dropping or truncating of old portions.

Develop RMAN Backup strategies for cloning the test databases with the production environment and worked on RMAN active-active duplication.

Schedule RMAN backups, purge jobs, Maintenance Jobs using DBMS_JOBS, DBMS_SCHEDULER, Crontab and $UNIVERSE.

Design and implement different backup strategies like Cold, Hot, MAN with Flash Recovery Area and Logical Backups EXPDP/IMPDP.
